Me three. I have an idle GRC-9 rx (French built I think) that would be eligible for experimentation. As long as I don't need to rewire anything. The last French built GRC-9 rx I worked on had low melting point insulation on the wiring. I had to get to the antenna coil and repair a break. I got to it but de-soldering the wiring destroyed the wires. Replaced with mil spec Teflon insulated seven strand silver wire. I just discovered I have some schematics of some solid state replacements for some of the tubes used in the GRC-9, the IL4, IR5, 1S5, and the 3Q4. The details vary with the different tube applications. Supposedly the designs have been proved out. These are in a PDF file, only 84KB. If anyone wants a copy, just let me know.
