[ARC5] Surplus Radio Conversion Manuals

Hi,

I am disappointed with some of the crap in this thread. I looked Carl up
on QRZ by his name instead of the callsign. He comes up there as Carl,
KM1H up in New Hampshire. It might not be that Carl. The callsign is
'borrowed'. Maybe the name is too. Who really knows. Maybe a search of
the FCC database will turn up this Carl. Maybe he has two callsigns. Or
used to have this 'borrowed' callsign.

My family is chock full of military veterans and quite a few have some
war decorations. One of those men was awarded the Medal of Honor -
posthumously. I got an extra medal before I was medevaced out of Viet
Nam. That precipitated the end on my own military career. But you know,
we all put our pants on pretty much the same way. I would bet more than
a few list members have some medals jingling in the closet or dresser
drawer. Some achieved rank and carried heavy responsibilities, too.
Credentials? Our military service seems unrelated to this.

Going to the corner to sulk.

73,

Bill KU8H
