[ARC5] Prelim comments on a DC - DC B+ converter.

G'day all!

For the DC-DC converter shown in the photo:  Has anyone traced the circuit?
If "yes", please contact me off-list.

My initial opinion:  The "transformer" in the photo IS a transformer (not an inductor).
I suspect that the arrangement is conventional (ferrite) transformer, followed by a 1/2  wave rectifier.   The feed-back and regulator circuit is quite elaborate, involving several ICs.  If my view is correct then the common connection between primary side and secondary side of the PSU will NOT allow series connection because the feed-back circuit ALSO shares the same common line.  Some separation (eg optical feedback) is necessary to wire the output voltages in series.  

At any rate I'm interested in the circuit (if anyone has it).
