Well, guys, this morning I completed fixing the Tektronix 2236 I have been working on. I still have to run some tests using a signal generator but the trace appears bright and stable and the digital display is up and running.

I robbed the voltage multiplier out of a 2225 and had to get create on how to mount it, but finally succeeded.

Next, I bought an NTE voltage multiplier that was on sale for $4.50, and while I could not cram it in the 2236, it appears rather easy to mount it in the 2225. So I am going to give it a try. I think I'll put several million ohms in the anode lead in case the voltage multiplier is running a lot higher than the original one.

By the way, http://ntepartsdirect.com/ has some good prices and reasonable shipping charges for small purchases (e.g., $4.50).

Thanks!
