I've been playing with my LMs lately, and
would like to compare an observation.
This concerns the oorrector. I have 3 and
they all do pretty much the same thing.
At the 2000 kc checkpoint, the corrector will
be between 4 and 5. At the 4000kc checkpoint,
the corrector will be at 2 to 3.
I'm wondering if this is pretty much normal
for these 70+ year old instruments, or is this
an indication of aged components or other
problem?
I am assuming that when these were brand new
the corrector didn't change much if at all
across the band, would this assumption be
correct?
It doesn't cause too much of a problem, all
three of my meters do much better than the
..01% specified in the manual.
