Hello Dave,

On the topic of turns ratio for the mic transformer T-51 I can say the
following:

Document: T.O. 16-40SCR274, page 97 (or pg 111 if you use the PDF number
on MY computer), the turns ratio is 1:10 (step up).
Apparently both primary and secondary windings use the same gauge wire,
because the resistance ratio is also 1:10.

This document is useful, and to be correct the name is:  T.O. No
16-40SCR274-5 but renamed to T.O. 12R2-3SCR274-2 dated 15 February 1943,
and revised 1956.  (phew!  It's nice to have a document manage to
accurately maintain documents!)
