A lot of hams are or were lazy/sloppy with nomenclature. Calling all of
the A.R.C. built sets "ARC5's" is only one example. Remember the several
flame wars some years back over what an "R-274" looks like and who made it?
(for those of you who missed that bit of fun or aren't familar with the R-274
family, some of them were based on the Hallicrafters SX-73 and some on the
Hammarlund SP-600). "URM-25" is another problem child for similar reasons.
Both cases where having the wrong manual is decidedly worse than having no
manual.
