Yes. That is why my BC-348 had a BC-946B attached as a "Q-5er" instead of a BC-453.

Sigh....

So, how did you like your BC-312 after you had refurbished it?

The reason I ask is that I, somehow, ended up with two BC-342s, both with missing fiducials 
on the dials, but otherwise complete.
