I would almost instantly buy 3 ea of the SS 12SK7s.

THAT is the one I would be most interested in!
If that one was available, I'd buy three at least as fast as I would buy the 12SK7s.
Trouble is, as far as I know, the main and biggest user of the 12K8 is the ARC-5 receivers.
The 6K8 was used in a lot of entertainment radios though.
