[ARC5] Circuit Help Needed

looks like it's a stable reference voltage for the feedback amp.That's a whole lotta stuff to get 250 volts!
Is that good for 300 ma regulated or something like that?
You could probably get by with one big nasty tube instead of 3 .

Good Evening All I picked up a nice home brew power supply that has a fewitems that are stumping me. I haven’t been able to figure out what the6SL7 or OB3 regulator are doing in this circuit. I’vetriple checked my schematic (which I obviously had to hand draw from staring atthe innards of the power supply).
The circuit does indeed work.
