There are various transfer methods that can take output from a laser
printer and essentially create a decal that can then be affixed to many
surfaces. The simplest uses packing tape or some other suitably-sized
sticky thing. Print out the overlay on paper as usual, carefully place
the tape on it, smoothing it out to assure intimate contact between
adhesive and paper. Dunk in water, wait. The paper will dissolve away
(with a little encouragement), leaving the toner on the tape. Then stick
the tape on the final surface. Smooth carefully to remove bubbles, etc.

Tom
