[ARC5] Smart People: How Would You Fix This?

No easy way that I can think of, Dave. Like the pre-war Super Pros, the RAX
appear to have been painted then engraved, resulting in bright silver
lettering.

If you know someone with an engraving business, maybe they'd agree to play
with it as an experiment, practice, whatever. Or you could clean, repaint,
and patiently clean out each digit carefully with a pick, jeweler's
screwdriver, or whatever.

One of the things I always wanted to try but never got around to was to
strip and clean/prep a panel like that, then fill the lettering with
something like silicone sealer or such. Then paint with black wrinkle, dry,
and pick out the sealer. Tedious at best.

You would likely be better off filling the engraving, repainting and using
dry transfers if you're not going for a 'show finish'.
