Jeep:

So Lulu Bell in the original move had SCR-608?  Is that accurate for 1942?  I got the impression that SCR-608/628 was a lot later in the war, such as 1944.  

In the film "The Tanks Are Coming," made in the late 40's, there is a scene where they are working on the radios of an M4 Sherman and have an SCR-608 type receiver out and on the ground.  But since that takes place after 6 Jun 1944, I think that is correct  for that time period, anyway.
