   General notice:



   A close match to this 27 tpi thread is commonly available: 1/2 inch
   28 turns per inch.
   A nut with this thread will start BUT!



   DO NOT, repeat DO NOT attempt to match the (correct) 27tpi thread on
   your radio with a 28tpi thread.
   You WILL ruin the aluminum thread on your radio.
