[ARC5] Command Set Shaft Collar Nut

After taking some careful measurements, I have purchased the 1/2-27 tap & die set from China via eBay. I also have discovered that a brass 5/16" compression cap will fit almost perfectly over the shaft collar, except for the threads.
I do intend to rethread the compression cap and try it. I'll let everyone here know whether it works OK or not. Should be in a couple of weeks (due to the time it takes to receive the tap & die from Hong Kong via ePacket).
Thanks for all the interesting replies!
Respectfully,
Phillip W4RTX
