[ARC5] ARC-5 in the X-1

All true.  But when did the ARC Type 12 equipment come out?  Even more true 
for it.  Of course I guess the ARC-5 VHF set put out more than the 2 watts 
of the Type 12 transmitter.

I recall hearing from someone that the Type 12 got used in the early U-2.
