That must be in the running for the ugliest yet successful repair ever!  Gotta hand it to you, faced with the same thing I wouldn't have thought it could be saved.

While waiting to complete a deal for a TCS-12 dynamotor
supply, I've been doing some preliminary work on a
Halli-Scratchers rig.  Of course, mice had nested
in the thing and did what mice do, including
chew-up a wafer switch.

(the black is rust-converting primer paint).

Luckily, the little demon chewed it in a "fixable" place.
I got my trusty "Shoe Goo" glue (I think you could patch
a torpedo hole in a battleship with this stuff), put some
glue on each of the pieces, engaged the contact and 
supported the piece overnight.  Next day, I put on 
a couple of more layers to give it strength.  
Working fine now.
