[ARC5] OT The BC-659- what were they thinking?

I would say that it has been extensively modified.  SO-239, indicator lamp 
(or perhaps pushbutton switch) and key jack on front panel.  Antenna 
selector relay missing.  Two banana or pin jacks on right side.  Male octal plug in 
rear.  1629 has been replaced by another tube with a G envelope.  
Calibration crystal replaced by tube with G-envelope (VR tube, probably).
