The receiver autotunes as well, *but* a thumbwheel has
to be manually preset to the approximate frequency so the
proper harmonic of the crystal will be selected.

The set does the entire autotune cycle every time the channel
is selected, so to change frequency, you would have to change
the crystals, set the thumbwheel, then select another channel,
and then reselect the channel in question.

Fun to watch when it all works right.
