Well, I have not yet seen a clear indication as to whether the problem is in
the dynamotor or in the receiver. So far, it seems to me as though the
problem could be in either one.
We have to eliminate one or the other in order to determine where the true
problem lies.
The simplest thing seems to me to run the dynamotor without it being
connected to anything except primary voltage, which in this case I assume is
28 VDC.
A couple of heavy-duty clip leads, his 28 V supply, and the dynamotor lying
loose on the bench would answer the question.
Mike Morrow and Mac both mentioned that the symptoms seem to be
identical to their experiences with a shorted HV connection. My experiences
are the same as theirs.
