I'm npt reading any open question or puzzle.  The info I posted at 1150 cst has answers to this...red is the color for that range.

There is no additional significance to markings on the inner form...it will always be marked with the same color as the main coil form.   It is not removeable intact, and so it is a *permanent* part of the MO coil assembly.
