[ARC5] More Condenser/Capacitor Trivia

Vaguely related to this topic, I've tried to determine whether there
was any connection between the Solar Capacitor Sales Co. of Madison Ave,
NYC which later became the Solar Manufacturing Co. of Bayonne, NJ -- and
the Solar Electronics Corp. of 149 Wooster St, NYC.

The first sold capacitors (or condensers, if you prefer - as they
sometimes did - see below).

The second manufactured the Solar Capacitor Analyzer, and also used the
address of 599 Broadway, NYC.

And the third company made my Solar System VI Six Meter transceiver:

The capacitor checker definitely came from the same company that sold
capacitors, because they both used the same logo where teh S is made to
look like a double version of the Nike "swoosh". The following also
appears in the manual for the above tester: "Made and guaranteed by
SOLAR Manufacturing Corporation. Manufacturers of Wet and Dry
Electrolytic, Paper, Mica, and Trimmer Condensers (sic). Bayonne
NJ." The terms "capacitor" and "condenser" are used interchangeably
throughout the manual.

But I've found no indication that the six meter rig maker was related in
any way to the earlier Solar company, and in all likelihood no one yet
alive knows.
