I've got a nice old unmolested BC-453 mounted on top of a nicely done HB
power supply (bottom plate removed and same screws used, no hacks) that I
got from an old timer in VT who used it for beacon and other LF listening.
I of course plugged it in and it worked for a while, then one of the
electrolytics went south. It's in the 'to do' queue.

Never got to spend the time doing it that I would've liked to, and of
course there's not a lot left to hear. But it's still intriguing.
