I leave "birdies" problems up to the Audubon Society.  I suggest that the 
astute application of ferrite cores, bypass capacitors and shielding to 
arrest the noise is the remedy.  Junk computer power supplies are loaded 
with parts you can build some very effective RFI filters with.
