With your advice above, I did some web searching...and ran down many 
interesting rabbit holes.  One such rabbit hole was the following:

His supply is built for Nixie tubes at 180-ish volts at under 60 ma 
current.  However, if you read down, he's got information on a higher 
current version that is doing 180-ish volts at 120+ ma current out.

Interesting.
