There was some interest in the versions of GF coils.
Here are some photos.

Note that between 1 and 2, the coil positions were swapped.

I have GF-1 transmitter with GF-1 coil
and a GF-5 transmitter with GF-2 coil.
GF-2 was a complete overhaul of the GF and
GF-1 design, the later-version transmitters being,
with small changes, like the GF-2
I find it interesting that the GF-1 and GF-2 coils
were produced on the same contract and dates.
Upgrades made during the production,
as was done with the ARC-5 VHF sets?

Photos of the GF-1 transmitter plates included
for interest.
