     I am not sure but I don't think the numbers have been adjusted for 
general population.  They are presumably valid for giving a distribution 
of ham radio by numbers but, for instance, the number of people in the 
highest income group is much smaller than those in the lower income 
group in the general population; what happens to the ratios of the 
survey if that is taken into account?  Same with age and education.  At 
least some of the trends in this survey may reflect general trends.  
Surveys are always interesting but one must be careful of what 
influences the numbers.
