Well, in my case, some time ago, I found, on the loading-dock of the local 
university's Electrical Engineering Dept, ready to be scrapped, a 
dual-115VAC output, pure-sine wave, at 20 amps, UPS with control panel.

Needless to say, I grabbed them as fast as I could carry their over 100 
pound weight each.

They take 48 VDC input.

I have gathered a short "rack", with heavy-duty casters under it, in which to 
mount them, with their batteries.

The manual, which is still available, costs $75.00. I've got that on the way 
too.

I can hardly wait to get it in operation.
