[ARC5] Hallicrafters S-38 is dangerous

I had seat belts installed in my 1956 Ford!  Bought at the BX and installed by Harlingen AFB (TX) motor pool folks!  Base had a seat on slanted rails that demonstrated how far you'd be thrown forward when unbelted at a simulated 5 mph.  Enough to convince me! 

I think that belts were optional on Fords starting around 1955.

IIRC from when I safed my S-38E, one side of the line cord via the on-off switch connected to the B- buss & the buss was cap (& resistor in parallel) coupled to the chassis but the chassis was insulated from the cabinet by non conductive fittings so that the metal cabinet was floating.
