[ARC5] SCR-183 in an SNJ-4 OH date of 6-53 NASM

I note that the receiver controller in the front cockpit not only has what David points out is a SCR-183/283 type tuning dial but also its nameplate is not the smaller riveted nameplate of the CW-2302 type of controller but rather looks like the larger yellowish ones used by the USAAF.

I also note that the receiver controller in the rear cockpit is not tuned to the same frequency as the one in the front cockpit and appears to be past the dial limits.

Anyway I guess it is not impossible that the USN obtained SCR-183/283  controllers and utilized them for some reason, maybe just because they had the frequency markings.
