I have only read a few of the comments on our list, but I feel compelled to comment.

A few years ago, before eBay sickened me to the point of quitting it, I offered a few items that the going price was in the $50-$100 range. I started the auctions at $1.00 with no reserve.
Several of the items had bids of $1.00. Disappointing as it was, the auctions ended at $1.00.
What did I do?
I sent the item. My word is of considerable value, at least to me.
Would you want to deal with someone whose word and self respect were self-valued at $50 or $100.?
At what dollar value do they consider it ok to screw another person?
Life is short and if we take anything with us where ever go when we die, it's likely to include our word and respect for others.

Does my rant make sense to anyone other then myself?
If anyone cares to comment I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on the matter.

Sorry for the diatribe.

73,
Rick
