Heh,

My Kenwood is the 599 twins now more than 40 years old. Even new they 
weren't close to ten kilobucks. Mine cost me $200 - used. I've been 
using the set for thirty years without a lot of trouble. There won't be 
any radios in here that cost me more than my first house!
