For the record, there is no such thing as "black crinkle finish". The
proper name is black wrinkle.

RE-94A/AIC-10 is part of Intercommunication Set AN/AIC-10. It is used with
Control Panel C-824/AIC-10 to provide "hot mic" capability on the
interphone system, mostly in two-place aircraft.

RE-94(*) contains one each plug-in AM-476/AIC-10 which contains 4 sub-min
tubes and two barometric switches. Probably you only got the RE-94
schematic. Supply voltages required are 27.5 VDC and 170 VDC.

Manuals for AN/AIC-10 are TM 11-5831-200-12 (formerly T.O. 12R2-2AIC10-1)
and TM 11-5831-200-35 (formerly AN 16-30AIC10-2).

AN/AIC-10 dates from about 1953. It is hybrid, containing some tubes and
some discrete transistors.
