[ARC5] BC-348 Franken-Fied

All joking aside now, there are pictures somewhere on the web that show the X-1 with a four-channel VHF AN/ARC-5...R-28 and T-23 or T-126.

In regard to the BC-348-* (AN/ARR-11), it was used on many post-war USAF aircraft with the T-47A/ART-13 or T-412/ART-13B as part of the AN/ARC-8.  This includes early versions of the B-36, before the RCA AN/ARC-21 was available.  Some remained in service on older aircraft up to the early 1970s.
