    Whatever, NOTHING we can reasonably (or unreasonably) do will stop 
global warming, if it is happening. China, India and Africa are swamping 
all our green efforts.

I recycle, try my best to be frugal in all things, drive a 30 year old 
car, thereby not consuming steel, much rubber (a little in tires of 
course) and get 35-38 miles per gallon. That is more than 10 mpg better 
than the average new car.  Turn off unneeded lights, keep the heat as 
far down as I can in winter and the A/C as far up as possible in the 
summer.

     That's my bit and I have always been frugal.

     I have very "green" friends who drive 17 mpg SUVs. Go figure.
