I don't know if you have been following this thread, but I have two each NIB 
U.S. Navy dynamotors which have the following characteristics:

12VDC input at 16.8 amps, 680 VDC output at 210 mA, MFP-4-45, made for 
Stromberg-Carlson by Webster Products.

The Stromberg-Carlson type is: Dynamotor - 42486

Might you have any information on these?

I am very curious about what piece of equpment these were originally used 
with.
