[ARC5] Test

Not feeling too well myself, today. Tis the season I suppose...
I finished building my home brew BC-456 a while ago, but haven't finished restoring the transmitters yet. I have one that wasn't butchered too badly, but needed full restoration none the less, the other one was not so lucky. It seems that everybody used to take the relays out at a minimum, and then things went down hill from there. I have some T-20s that were more or less unmodified that I can get the relays from for the bc-459 and BC-456 units.
I also acquired some decent ARC transmitters, but I don't have a MT-71 for them. The ARC transmitters are in better overall condition and more complete than the SCR274 components that I have, but I'll just have to wait until a rack comes along. ( all good things come to those who wait...)
I was thinking that the next restoration of the ARCs will be in full 28V mode and I will use a dc-dc converter to run them mobile. What say you?

Well, most of us have many other things to deal with than radio.

Yes. You folks are getting clobbered there. Here in Idaho, it is almost like
spring.

No. That wouldn't help much....and blowing snow can create a lot of "snow
static". We haven't had that problem here this year.

Band conditions are very bad, in addition to the constant 20dB over S-9
noise level on 80.

Doing OK. I have a really bad cold right now. I've been completely miserable
for the past couple of days.
