Maybe....

A few years ago, I was cleaning out some "junque" that our local Electrical
Engineering Department was throwing away.

Amongst the detritis was a small globe-shaped tube with a base that looked
like a Christmas tree light. It included the small porcelain socket.

I contacted Ludwell Sibley and sent him some photos. He told me it was a
replica of a DeForest Audion and he had a buyer who would give me
$1500.00 for it, or I could auction it and possibly get a bit more...maybe.

After picking myself up off the floor, and talking with my wife about it, and
after SHE picked herself up off the floor, we sold it to him, happily.

Amongst the other detritis, I obtained a complete Millen GDO with all coils,
including the LF coils.
