Speaking of BC-348 zombies, I just finished one similar the the one 
described.  I was fortunate in that I had a like-series front panel is 
nice shape.  The old one had corrosion and had been oversprayed at some 
point.  The lettering was very poor.  Mt thought is this; has anyone 
thought to set up a silk screen for the BC-348 front panel, such as was 
done by W4PNT on Viking Rangers and Valiants? Front panel removal is not 
a huge chore, to the contrary.  The panel old panel would need to be 
stripped, re-wrinkle-painted, and then screened.  I have a couple of 
panels that it could be done to.  I know there are quite a few '348's 
that could use a facelift, out there.  I just wonder if that form of 
lettering restoration would be viable to the "collector" or is 
originality the wholly overriding feature to be maintained?  Any 
thoughts on the matter?  As an aside, I'm presently working on  BC-348 
knob restorations and have found some similar looking pointer arrow 
available on dry transfers.
