I was given at least 4 DM-34s some time ago, at least 3 of them were new.

I have mounted the crappiest one (after cleaning and refurbishing it a bit) on 
an old ARC-5 receiver dynamotor base and have tested it with one of my 
refurbished hack-jobs. It worked perfectly.

This way, I can run a receiver and a refurbished hack-job ARC-5 transmitter 
on 12 VDC.

I have two new 12 VDC to 600 VDC at 200 mA dynamotors, one of which I 
intend to use with a transmitter.

I've always loved the sound of a dynamotor...and a motor-generator simply 
makes me feel good.

Color me crazy, I guess.
