No comments on the proposed modification, but I do have a suggestion on 
the front end overview of the sets.  You will never see any actual set 
identified without a two letter code between the SCR- or BC- and the 230 
or 430, so you might insert the specific transmitter that you are using 
to avoid confusion.  Moreover, the five coils you mention are not the 
only ones available that will work over those frequency ranges - the 
ones you cite were specifically made for the SCR-AR-183 and 283 sets.
