[ARC5] Selectivity and the BC-455

RE: our discussion a bit ago concerning the almost non-existent selectivity of 
the BC-455 and/or R-27/ARC-5, and the article in ER on using the "Q-5er" to 
help that.

In doodling around on the internet the other day, I happened to find this

To say I was more than a little surprised would be an understatement.

There is something about this fellow which is familiar, but I can't put my 
finger on it. I am almost certain I have seen him in the flesh...

Anyway, he adds a simple crystal-filter to the BC-455 in an old IF can. What 
it does for the selectivity needs to be heard to be believed.

I would never have thought of this.
