Nah, just modulate the screens in push-pull and run DSB. :-)

No such deals here in the islands and no one seems to be willing to pick me
up some carcasses (Rx or Tx) for hacking ... er, experimenting. I do have a
few I got for parts to get others running but not at hamfest prices by a
freakin' long shot.

One of the chasses is now totally bare in front of the oscillator tank
shield so is a candidate for something I've thought about. The Russian
GU-50 is a neat little tetrode and a brace of them would do quite nicely
where the 1625s were with lots of room left over for all sorts of madness.

I can hear the lynching party forming up as I type ... <G>

Best Regards,

Michael, K3MXO, CBLA #6, BL01hx15np24 ... or there abouts
Sometimes I pretend to be normal but it gets boring so I go back to being
me.
