I had done some googling on plastics when thinking about coil supports and the polystyrene used in Q-Dope, plastic peanuts, and model airplanes was about the most completely RF-transparent common plastic that anyone had reported on.

"Q-Dope (or homebrew equivalent) have enough strength for the job?"? I would think so.

Try E6000 instead, did not mess with the Q-factor. Someone did a study on what modern glues to use when making-holding wire Coils to the Coil form. It is noline somewhere.
