The D-401 dynamotor is probably from a TCS dynamotor supply.  It will work 
OK but its output is a nominal 400 VDC.  So power out will be a little 
lower.

Your receiver must be an R-26, not T-26.

On the 1625 tube socket problem, although I have never tried it in a 
Command Set transmitter, you should be able to open up the crimp holding the 
remains of the original 7-pin socket and transplant one out of one of your parts 
cadavers.  Same procedure you would use to open up a vibrator or a standard 
cylindrical canned electrolytic capacitor.
