Not really.
I like "originallity," but draw the line at microphones.
If the radio is going to be alive, a "stock" T-17
isn't going to work. Not unless you're made of money
and can by dozens to find one that will give you about 50% mod.
A microphone element from an old land-line telephone
will work. Unfortunately, it won't fit inside a T-17 case
unless you're willing to mill-out the mounting space.
It's not a perfect world. I won't tell if you don't.
"Matching transformer??" Shouldn't be one inside
a T-17. The cap is to help kill the audio "highs"
you don't need. Don't remember the value but
I'll bet someone here does.
