Well, I have not had the "pleasure" of using an SX-101 or any following Halli
receivers, but every other one I have ever used, EXCEPT the SX-28, would
wobble off frequency if the operator sneezed loudly within a block of them.
I was always very disgusted by this. To my mind, there was simply no valid
excuse for this idiocy.
I came to the conclusion that the only Halli receivers which were inherently
mechanically stable were those which were forced to follow Signal Corp
specifications...SX-28, R-274, etc.
