Yeah every ATC/ART-13 came equipped with a 110VAC surge supressor plug...or whatever that plug looking thing is with the ventilated tubular cage on it..must of been from the estate of a ham who was using it as a box for various junk box items..the box itself is interesting, but possibly none of its contents are the original stuff.

Heh heh heh..... Well, at least he's in the right sphere of influence?  The best wrong-translation I recall is a 1980's-era Washington Post article, vis-a-vis a local plane crash.  The reporter stated that at the time of the incident, the pilot was flying VOR.. Visibility Obscured by Rain.  Oh well...
