Heh heh heh..... Well, at least he's in the right sphere of influence?  
The best wrong-translation I recall is a 1980's-era Washington Post 
article, vis-a-vis a local plane crash.  The reporter stated that at the 
time of the incident, the pilot was flying VOR.. Visibility Obscured by 
Rain.  Oh well...
