Hi,
How long is your attic!? I have an end fed wire that exits the radio
room through the ceiling and is strung accross the attic on electric
fence insulators through the sidewall just under the eaves and on up
into the trees where parts of it are supported by more of those electric
fence insulators. The places where it passes through the ceiling and the
wall use homebrew, large diameter, feedthough insulators. The one to the
outside is sealed against the weather.
I mentioned those electric fence insulators first because they are the
items you want. Tractor Supply and other farm stores and maybe places
like Home Depot.

It's ten bucks for a bag of 25. It's hard to see in the photo but that
is a diagonal slot in the side of the insulator. The wire is completely
free to slide through the insulator but will not easily fall out of that
slot (I mount mine with the slot facing up). I had to fight to get the
wire back out the insulator when I wanted to that!
